Q. Can I change the graphics in the template?
A. Yes. We will provide you a link to our royalty free graphics catalog. You can also use a photograph or image you have purchased or taken yourself. We cannot accept any graphic without the written license to use it, as all images on the web are copyright. This includes supplier images, even if you have verbal permission from your supplier or DSM. We can also create collages, animated graphics and slide shows to pique interest and add variety for an added fee.
Q. Can I add my logo to the template?
A. Yes. Please email it to us in a high quality format, or you can send us your letterhead via postal mail and we can scan it in at no extra cost. It will add 3-5 days to the final delivery time.
Q. I need a new logo. Can you design one?
A. Yes. For a text-only logo with a coordinating font, add $75. For customized graphics, ask us for a quote.
Q. Can I change the names of the buttons and/or links, with no change the the number of buttons?
A. Yes. Let us know the labels you would like. There is no extra charge; this is included in the modification fee.
Q. Can I change the layout of the template?
A. Yes, but it can be cost prohibitive in some cases. It might be easier to choose a new template closer to the layout that you like.
Q. Can I change the number of buttons or navigation links?
A. Yes, however there is an added cost for the graphics programming, depending on the number, size and font. We will discuss it with you and the costs associated before we start. You can budget approximately $25 per button if there is no drop down menus involved. Text links are generally included provided space is available.
Q. Do I have to use Flash? What is Flash?
A. Flash is a form of advanced programming that inserts smooth, movie-like animation into a site.Some templates are completely Flash-based (which we do not recommend) and some templates use Flash headers to reduce the load-time of a site, and increase the speed. Flash is widely believed to be detrimental to search engine placement. If you purchase a template that includes Flash, basic additions of your name are included. It is optional to use the Flash at all.
